2. A potato and baking soda can save your rusted bakewear. A regular, ordinary potato can morph into a magic scrubber if you have the know-how. Just cut a raw potato in half and dip the exposed part into water, then into baking soda. Then, firmly rub the dipped end of the potato over the rusted area, until the rust is removed. (Rinse and repeat as necessary.) You can also use this for your tarnished silver!

17. To freshen up a mattress, just use a light dusting of baking soda on mattress and allow it to absorb for 2 to 3 hours, then remove with a vacuum.

    Add 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol to a plastic bag before freezing.Then cover the gum with ice or slush but keeping it dry until the gum freezes. scrap it off with a butter knife. Vacuum any remaining sugar residue. Finish with a carpet spot cleaner.
